Rank Structure
As the MVSN was to be the model for the new Roman Legions, their ranks were
accordingly different from the Royal Italian army. They are as follows.

Every division (two regiments) in the Italian Army had a Blackshirt legion (battalion) attached to it. Very often, Blackshirt units were brigaded together, such as in the North African Campaign and in the Russian Campaign. This unit represents the "M" brigade known as "Montebello" which comprised three Blackshirt legions--the 30th, 6th, and 12th.
